Buenos Aires Mayor announces special plan to promote Java certifications among High School students

In this link (in spanish) you will find information about a new plan that Buenos Aires Mayor and his minister of education are announcing. There will be a selection of the top
22 students from last year in all public high schools from Buenos Aires with technical orientation, and they will provide them with 16 hs of training in Java in order to let them be ready to take first Java certification

This is a great new in order to promote new IT generations here in South America!!! But please share your thoughts about promoting It certifications in high school level, is it ok or not?
