Xie Tao Opensolaris & Netbeans IDE Introduction at CTBU

A few minutes ago, WangZhen, Sun ambassador, finished the introduction of Opensolaris and Netbeans at Chongqing Technology and Business University. 30 students in CTBU attended the activity. When WangZhen's speech finished, some students asked questions about Opensolaris, like how to start it from LiveCD or how to install it on the PC. Generally, the activity has successfully finished!

Nikolay Chistyakov OpenSolaris 2009.06 & KDE4.3.1

Для все кому надоел Gnome или кто изначально был сознательным KDE-шником в nix системах есть интересный дистрибутив OpenSolaris 2009.06. Дистрибутив появился 16 сентября. Скачал - интересно и красиво. Полноценно протестировать не успел. Но после установки порадовал дизайн KDE 4.3.1 со всеми вытекающими (кнопынки, окошечки и програмулиньки). Все это радует если уже давно утомил глаза скудный на красоту и прелести Gnome.

We had our first meeting in conjunction with Unix Unanimous (what a great bunch they are), at the Bahen Centre Computer Science, University of Toronto on August 12, 2009. Quería contar que estuve haciendo algunas pruebas sobre el openSolaris y sobre todo la nueva caracteristica que agrega ZFS que es la de TimeSlider.
